RE: Ryan R630 Floorstanding Speakers

Hello,

I am not an owner but had the chance to listen to these at the Axpona 2016 show in Chicago having not heard of this manufacturer before. I am a panel speaker person but these speakers really caught my attention. They were playing with Auralic's Merak monoblocks and the Auralic dac as preamp. They had a very even character, nothing stood out, and for sure they had extremely low box colorations. It struck me as a very finely tuned speaker design. If I went back to box designs, that would definitely be a speaker to seriously look at in my opinion. Simple and beautiful cabinet too.
