RE: hifiheaven- a scam site?

I think I know the guy who owns the store. I won't say his last name 'cause I'm not sure if it's the same guy. His first name is Vince - well, if he's even still alive (he would be about 75+ now). I worked for Vince in the early and mid '70s, doing commercial sound installations, and he was thinking about opening a hifi shop and calling it Hifi Heaven. Sue Craft (4everyoung) might have some additional info.

P.S.: I am forever indebted to Augie, who was my mentor in installations. He taught me everything I know about running wire, installing ceiling speakers, wall-mounted controls, and generally getting it done right. My first job with him was the under-construction Green Bay Southwest high school. We ran seven miles of wire in there - yes, 35 1000' spools.

:)
