The Tubelab SSE Kit is strictly from a PCB. I'm doing this only as an exercise in following a schematic.

Especially if you're a first time builder, or even have some experience, the SSE with it's excellent step-by-step online manual with diagrams and photos, is hard to beat. The accompanying discussions of various tube and transformer choices are valuable. You'll wind up with a very good sounding 4 to 6 Watt amplifier.
