Bi Wire Question?

Posted by pictureguy on August 30, 2021 at 13:53:56:

I know this may be a silly question, but here it is nonetheless.

IF you biwire, do both wires carry the same signal? Or does the wire somehow know not to carry the 'other' frequency range? If you have a connection to the HF part of the crossover, do only HF frequencies make it TO the crossover? Opposite for the lows.

OR,

As would seem reasonable to me, the crossover selects and ALL the frequencies are available to it at the speaker terminals.

Which is correct?
