Not here to argue but that's simply not true. I agree some of these designer cables are no better than some of the mid level wire. But anyone that thinks that you can get wire from Home Depot that is in the same stratosphere is not being truthful. Cables do matter and I found that solid core speaker cable work better to me with Magnepan's. The best cable I've ever had in my system was Tara Labs 0.8. The only reason I got rid of them was due to weight. They're a very heavy cable and even with the use of cable risers the banana at the speaker end would bend and eventually break.
