If I recall correctly, Johnathan Valin mentioned that he didn't even consider the 30.7 or maybe it was the 30.7c a rock and roll speaker.
I know my JBL 4367's are rock and roll speakers, coaxial compression tweet and mid, advanced waveguide and a 15' woofer. In a large cabinet and coming in at over a hundred pounds.
One reviewer's quick check of a speakers bass and rock and roll ability is AC/DC's Back In Black album on CD.
