Exactly......Unintended consequences when simply saying 'you can serve X years and out'....

Might be better to impose an AGE limit. Like everyone else required to retire at some point.

Other 'fixes'? Can't go from government to lobbyist.

Get rid of Corporate Personhood. If it can't be Executed.....It's not a person.

Simply BAN or severely Modify 'Soft Money'......

Campaign spending CAPS based on Number of Registered Voters, Cost of Living and office.
President is a higher limit per voter than ANY State Office.

Congressional Redistricting is handled BY COMPUTer which draws boundries based on equal population and shortest border. No more 'safe districts' and populist drawing of lines.....
