that's good advice you have here already. Unless you're looking for perfection for big enlargements or selling, a good flatbed will do it. If it's just a handful and you want them done with top-notch equipment, there are places to send them and get professional output on equipment normal people are not going to be buying. A modern photo-quality flatbed scanner will do a nice job on prints, negs or slides. Epson has had a good rep for that over the years.
