Harp Lager used to be good, but the bottled stuff has not...

Posted by DeKay on March 12, 2017 at 16:38:13:

been so for quite a few years now (@ least what we get in the Los Angeles area).

I drank/liked it on tap in the 70's/80's, and the bottles were still good until 4-5 years ago.

Unfortunately the same has happened to our local supply of bottled Guinness Extra Stout (last 2-3 years I think) in that it now has a strong citrus flavor profile

As I'm of Scots-Irish descent (Grandmother on my Father's side) I can simply have a nice glass of Wild Turkey and call it a day while still embracing my HillBilly heritage.

Bummer for me as beer/ale is a treat (interfears with my BP meds) and I consume/average less than 6 bottles a year.
