I had no idea anyone would reach back to the Ford Y Block for a new engine design. I always heard it was kind of a dog that filled the gap between the flat head and the small blocks and big blocks of later years. That's fascinating.

My favorite Ford engine is probably the FE big block. I had a 1966 Galaxie 500XL convertible with a 352. Not very fast, but I loved it. My Holy Grail car is the 1966 Galaxie 7-Liter convertible with the 428. I love everything about that car! I want it in fire engine red with white interior please. Thank you. ;-)
