RE: What speakers to use with 45 single ended amp

Posted by mqracing on March 6, 2017 at 17:09:03:

There are so many options and directions you could (explore) go in. I think any person could spend years exploring!!!

A classic approach... Old theatre horns... One of my favorites is the Altec 604 co-axial drivers... Older k-horns with crossover optimizations... Older Heresies with alnico drivers and genuine EV T-35 high frequency horn assembly.

Single full range drivers... The classics like the WE (Altec) 755 series. JBL 8 inchers... In boxes or open (IEC) baffles. Modern Diatone aand Pioneer versions of their own classic full rangers. Select current Fostex drivers.

Tell us more about your listening preferences... And room size...
Music genres you listen the most to... Etc.

I'd like to see other readers recommendations as well...
