Re: VAC Renaissance 30/30 driving horns ?

Posted by Jeff Day on April 30, 2000 at 09:24:49:

I have heard the VAC 30/30 on a pair of Innersound Eros and it sounded detailed, rich, and dynamic--a very musical combo. I would love to hear them on my AG Duos. I am alternating between Cary 805C amps and a parafeed 45 on my Duos now, and it's amazing how good the 805C can sound. It doesn't have that magical musical expressionism that the 45 amps seem to do so easily, but it's close. The 45 amp, at less than 1/10 of the power has deeper and more detailed bass, so power & bass don't necessarily equate.
