Misco / Oakton 4.5 Full Range Driver Looks like Omega RS5 Driver, huh?

Posted by g_greenamyer@yahoo.com on February 26, 2021 at 20:51:21:

Today I was checking out the Misco speaker driver webpage. I looked under the Misco / Oakton section. I see a 4.5 inch full range driver that lo and behold looks just like the RS5 speaker driver that Omega Speaker Systems uses. Interesting. The omega speakers spec high end of their RS5 driver out to 20 hz. On the look a like driver on the Misco website it is specked as: 90-18. Why would the high end extension be different? Thinking of buying these drivers for diy bookshelf speakers. Ger.
