Playing digital from SSDs and USB flash drives...

Posted by John Elison on September 11, 2020 at 16:49:07:

If you happen to have a digital player that plays digital files from USB SSDs or USB flash drives, and you get periodic dropouts, I've found a solution. My Fiio M15 plays digital files from a micro SD card and my Mytek Brooklyn Bridge plays digital files from a USB flash drive or hard drive. I used to get periodic dropouts until I applied Caig DeoxIT Gold to the memory card contacts and USB contacts. It solved the dropout problem completely. Since applying DeoxIT Gold I've been listening for nearly a week without experiencing a single dropout.

Try it! You'll like it!
