Historically in the customer v. dealer/manufacturer rants I find myself less sympathetic to the customer than to the products/people they appear to be trying to smear. This one is no different.
If I can't get an item new for what I'm willing to pay usually with a bit of patience and effort I can find a demo, return or b-stock. But in general talking crap about people who can make things happen makes it less likely to happen.
And then there is always used.
