I'm hoping you're considering the v-bulletin style (or whatever the current equivalent is) because as a participant on many online forums, I think it's the least annoying.

I like the classic style of AA but only for nostalgia purposes and of course because it's way better than the other version, which I haven't seen anywhere.

The classic style is fun, but the v-bulletin style allows conversations that are the most interesting stay on top. I know that's also what other AA view does, but in a disjointed hybrid classic/vbulletin style that's just annoying.
