RE: The Future of the Asylum

Posted by Michael Samra on January 1, 2017 at 03:46:32:

I always forfeit my yoyo and cap because my family already thinks I'm a yoyo.I always give as generously as I can as it's not fair for Rod to do it all being we all benefit from the forum in many ways.We are a family and regardless of our issues even ones not related to audio, our brothers and sisters always seem to be there for us in one way or another. I know this first hand and there is no way you can put a price on that.
I've been around audio for a long time and have joined many forums but this is the only one I ever donate to as it's the only one that has any reciprocal appreciation for our interaction. It's easy to see why we are the largest audio forum and best forum regardless of topic.
Even those that donate 25 dollars or less, one manual or collective help in solving an audio problem more than makes up for it.Keep in mind this is our forum as much as it is Rod's. He's just the poor schmuck that has to keep it going and constantly maintain it for our continued satisfaction. It cost a lot of greenbacks to maintain one of these places, not to mention the countless hours of labor involved.I know I couldn't do it and having more up to date equipment will lighten the load for Rod and the moderators who generously donate their time. So lets help as much as we can. It's the least we can do.
