Yes, every bit as good as the PSAudio Direct Stream and as good or maybe better that my Audio-GD Master 7, but not by much.

I think the sweet spot for DACs is now in the $1000+ range and the Yggdrasil sits comfortably right there. While one can pay more, there's a wall at about $2,000 where things don't get that much better till you are near to $10K and there we're talking about gear that sits in the middle of $100,000+ systems with $20,000 worth of cables and who knows what any of it would sound like all by itself in a 'normal' $10,000 system?

Yggdrasil and a Ragnarok along with a pair of KEF LS50 and a set of HiFiMan HE-1000 V2's and I'd be ready for the 'Assisted Living Center'. :-)
