Interesting. I've found both the Oyaide 004 and the Oyaide 079 to provide poor synergy with the 14 AWG Acrolink 7N P4020iii bulk power cable. However, when the 14 AWG Acrolink 7N P4020iii is terminated with an Oyaide P-004 AC plug, and an Oyaide C-079 IEC connector, a very good tonal balance is achieved. I would expect a reverse configuration for the other two AC connectors might provide similar synergy with the 14 AWG Acrolink 7N P4020iii bulk power cable. Certainly worth a try, IMO.
