Some of the well-intentioned suggestions such as monster Manleys or ARCs are pretty silly in this day & age too. Get the cleanest, most neutral SOTA power amps available John Mark's suggestion for the VTV high-power Purifi-based amps is excellent. If you need more power than these, (which isn't likely), get a pair and bi-amp your speakers.

If you want warmth, full-body, color, holographic imaging, etc., get if from a tube preamp upstream.
