My local Audio Note (UK) dealer lets me take home and audition almost anything I want, and I have used this opportunity to my advantage. I don't have (or really want) and all Audio Note system, as my listening room makes the bigger AN speakers sound too boomy, and their preamps don't work well with my non-AN amplifiers and speakers. I have bought and enjoy very much an AN CD 4.1x and a Conqueror Silver. I also like their smaller 6L6 power amp (P-2 PP) in combination with some LS3/5A speakers to replace an older 60W sweep tube amp.
