Wow.
How Schiit manages to propose such a preamp for 699$ says a lot about the general overpricing of everything audio nowadays. And it's made in the USA!
I would be very curious to hear it.
It seems to be beautifully made (haven't seen the innards).
It's good that some of us who cannot have a second mortgage on their audio system can now have a different option than supermarket mid-fi and AV receivers.
