for the S-7
This table is amazing... I've lived with my rega planar 3 for almost ten years.... and decided to make the leap up to the S-7...... What a beautiful machine it is....... hand built of stainless steel with a nice satin finish... It sits on a good looking slate of granite.... When I installed the Lyra Argo cartridge and everything was setup to spec... The first thing that I plopped on was the 30th anniversary issue of Dark Side of the Moon cut by Kevin Gray and Doug Sax...... Wow, Okay, not only was it tracking much better, but the tonality seemed more right. Things felt more real, the sonic picture deepened and widened.... The bass had more authority and focus. I was rediscovering my music all over again..... It's a very musical table.... It communicates all genres of music superbly. I can listen to this thing for hours and not lose interest.
Product Weakness: It's a heavy bugger Product Strengths: soundstage, tonality, musicality
