REVIEW: Vandersteen Audio 2Ce Speakers Review by John at Audio Asylum

Stereophile says, "No one ever complains after buying Vandies." I think that says a lot, and I do not disagree.
That's because they sound great out of the box, and just keep getting better. I did notice that adding a good subwoofer (an NHT) was helpful, at least in my listening room and within the acceptable limits of speaker position. I read somewhere that 2 Ce Signatures plus a good sub are almost as good as the 3A Signatures, which run about $3500.
I got these new for $1500 including the stands. You might also want to consider the new Monitor speakers which are priced at about $2K.
