I have owned a pair of PSB Stratus Goldi's for two years now, and I'm just as pleased now as when I bought them. They are being used mainly for Jazz and Classical music, although the occasional Friday night is devoted to loud Rock. These speakers love to be driven hard.
They are sensitive to position within a room. I have them in a family room which measures 14' x 21' x 8'. They are positioned about 5' from the back wall and 3' from each side wall, firing dowm the long axis, and angled in to my listening chair with is about 9' away from the face of the speakers. I have played around (a lot) with position, and this works for me. Too close to a back wall and the bass becomes very muddy, yuck!
