Wow! Also: Wow!

Had original TSM-M for about 2 years- like everyone I got antsy- so I bought some Silverline sr-17 monitors. I think they played 15-20 minutes, and I knew they were not going to cut it. Granted the Silverlines are excellent speakers, but they are excellent like a BMW while the Merlins are excellent like an Aston Martin. Anyhow since I was antsy, I sent my Merlins to Bobby for the Magic Mod plus the lead free upgrade. Well I have had them back for a few weeks now...

First off- these things are utterly seamless from top to bottom. Secondly-every possible microdetail is extracted flawlessly.
Thirdly- Even during complex passages every note is allowed its space.

Above all this speaker lets me stop caring about electronics and I can concentrate on music. Lately I have been moved by music in ways I have rarely experienced prior.

Bill Evans
Miles Davis
Janis Joplin
Destroyer
to name a few...
All of the above were improved through the Merlins
Equally important to all of the above is Booby Palkovic's fanatical dedication to excellence and customer service.
