Magnestand Modifications of Magnepan MMG (with new Crossovers)

I have been exposed to a whole host of different speaker types - from electrostat (owned Martin Logan Re-Quests), Quads, Acoustats, Single driver designs, planar magnetic, corner horns, coaxial, dynamic, omnidirectional, full ribbon, open baffle etc.. you name it.

These modified MMG's from Magnestand are without a doubt the most natural sounding speakers I have heard to date; it just sounds like real performers and instruments. I can't give a more complete compliment than that.

Product Weakness: I've been in this hobby for close to 25 years, and I realize no speaker system is perfect, but these modified MMG's from Magnestand are as close as you will get for sane money.<br>If you really need a weakness, you just can't crank these to ear piercing levels
Product Strengths: Bass has real impact, life and definition; no desire for my subwoofer; midrange extremely natural, treble extends much higher than stock but also very natural; imaging on par or better than my single driver and omnidirectional speakers; better front to back layering and depth; they also seem more dynamic and alive(most likely due to better efficiency)
