I demoed a variety of different set-ups and speakers before settling on the Keilidhs. This included speakers from Acoustic Response, Acoustic Energy, Linn, B&W, JM Labs, JBL, Dynaudio, and others.

The conclusion I came to is that the Keilidhs were, for the money, the best speakers to buy up to about $3000us. The reson for this is that they offer the best articulation, soundstage, and overall presence of anything I heard. Also, they offer the greatest upgrade path given the ability to go active via the amps. Given, this requires either a full Linn system or a system with an external crossover set-up, but the otpion is nce.

All around a great product that is a worthwhile purchase. I paired mine with an Arcam 7R ss integrated amp, and plan on biamping it soon with an Arcam 8P or somparable power amp soon.
