I've listened to the Joseph 25 MK2, the Cremona's, 803's, Aerial 10T's. The Virgo 3 does it for me in spades. They give me a huge and deep soundstage, and very natural sound. I found the Virgo 3's along with the Proac's to do an incredible job of disappearing. I just heard the music. I have a CJ 17ls for the preamp, an MF 2500 for the amp, and a tube modified SACD 1000 player. The cables are Vampire copper cast. The music is mesmerizing. If looks are a concern, the Virgo 3â€™s are the best looking Virgoâ€™s yet, in my opinion. I encourage anyone looking for a non-analytical, smooth and natural sounding speaker with a huge soundstage presentation, to give these a listen. They aren't bass champs, but they go down low enough for me, and I don't feel that anything is missing, or anything has been added. I miss them when I canâ€™t listen to them. I recently went to the Home Theater expo in SF 2003, and there are a lot of speakers in this price range, (Virgoâ€™s just went up in price to $7500.00) but if you can find a used pair in good condition, you wonâ€™t be disappointed.
