for the TVC

I have one of the early TVC's from Nicholas @ Promitheus. It is exactly the same as offered now. I have well over 400hrs on unit, so time to review this Jewel. It is without dought my prized possesion. Before I got the TVC, I was running 10k PEC mono pots @ the 300B PP Canary amp. I also run a ouput stage by=passed DAC-AH as source, JVC Xl-z1050 as transport. All ZU top cabling. Speaker are DIY.. Coral fe103A variant ran for the widerange in 140cu " sub baffle, with Vifa M26wr-09-08's ran with BASH 300S active plates cut @ 130hz. Fountek NeoCD3 ribbon's x-ed @ 10,000 with a single 2uf cap. The alnico Coral is astonishing, but that is another subject. Basically I percieve no loss in Dynamics what so ever. Top end has 0 grain, 0 edgyness..sweet as can be.. there is a flow to the music that no tube pre hot rodded to heck & back has done for me.. I have a 3d soundstage that has to be heard.. It is realistic as they get..I really can NOT find fault in the unit.. Great from top to bottom.. does nothing wrong IMHO.. that is why it is my prized possesion now. Definatly was the missing link in my quest for liquid, free flowing music.. There is no sitting still in my listening room. You can not do it, no body can that has tried.. It has the boggie factor, with all the audiophile fluff. Fit & finish is superb, just wonderfull work. Nicholas knows tone, & has a ear for it.. I am a 30year + guitar player & live for good tone.. I was not expecting much for the 300+ I paid for the unit, but it has changed my mind in ever consevable way on what a person can get for his money if he is lucky & study's where to look. It was a gamble that I am ever so gratefull I took. I truelly have world class sonics now that would take many, many thousands of $ for someone to get the same in the commercial market. I expect the TVC to go up to a more fair price for Promethitheus. This is the only time I have ever felt guilty about what I paid for something.. I would hope it goes up a little to make it fair for them. Nicholas has a back ground in this audio game that is amazing, & am sure the world at large will come to know & respect his ability. It is truely amazing what the man knows & can do with gear. My amp is 100K impendance @ .33v for full output.Try the TVC if your looking.. You won't be looking further after this..no need, unless playing the headstock is your thing!!!!!!

Product Weakness: NONE & that is the truth as I hear it.
Product Strengths: Absolute liquidity to the music. Nothing analytical about this unit.
