Well, what's not to love about this baby. Aesthetically as clean as all its workings. I shared this unit with an engineer/producer friend of mine. I opened the top to show him the circuitry, before listening to it even, and he says "Wow! you should get it!" Then we listened to it in his studio (it was not a good match and was unfair to critically listen to it there) It seemed too hot in the mids. It was not being allowed to shine through its simplicity. We had to have it running through other gear and the mixing console to make it work in there. At home it is easy to see that the beauty of this thing is how transparent yet alive it is. Compared to my bottlehead, it is very open and quiet, the separation, detail and sound stage are huge. I had it running through a couple humble amps (100w hafler and 30w tube monos) and driven with my 963sa. Really awesome what it did for all my music. Without resorting to audiophile lingo, it made all my music lusterous and new again. I have to have one not only because of the awesome sound but as a designer myself I have little respect for corner cutting and love seeing things of quality. This I need.

Product Weakness: The only bad thing about this preamp is I dont have it anymore, I had to send it off to the next audition..Arrgghhh!!
Product Strengths: Transparency, quietness, build quality, price, two discrete powered outputs (not just split by a jumper) Great for biamping.
