This unit has made a profound improvement in my system. I bought it after the Robert Harley review of the HST 2000 model in TAS. True, I also changed my wall outlets to grounded from ungrounded at the same time. But, given Harley's comments, I think most of it was attributable to the Monster. I am happy to be able to spread the news about this thing since the improvement is UNBELIEVABLE. I live in a high rise apt. in Manhattan, which is notorious for EMI and RFI, so i'm sure some of the improvement is power grid dependent. My system is changed in every way, just like the review said-- deeper base, sweeter highs, more transparency -- and i'm talking really big improvements, apparent to casual listener and audiophile alike. The difference was greater than changing a major component. I couldn't recommend this more highly
