I have been a long time fan of CLS line conditioner as I have been using the CLS9600 in my h/t setup with great results (see my other review on the 9600). I just recently picked up my 9900 from a second hand on line. Sure enough, I was not disappointed after having my amp (Moon W5) plugged into the CLS9900 for three days: Deeper soundstage with more sense of spacious between instruments. Cymbals sound a bit more natural with no roll-off. All these must be due to lower floor noise level suppressed by the CLS9900. In terms of dynamic, the CLS9900 seems to rob just a bit of it which is normal for any line conditioner, I think. CLS9900 is no PS600 but then you may have to pay up to $2k and you perhaps regain a tad more dynamic? I may get the PS600 eventually but I'll keep the 9900 for the time being.
