for the X-LP2
This was a killer phono stage, sadly no longer availble. I love this unit, with it's external power supply and true mono construction. The sound is indeed very good. While it is not a Krell or ARC killer, it will give you very satisfying music. The clarity is very good considering the price ( when availble $800). Small details from my Koeatsu Black cartridge on my Linn came out very well. The dynamics were the best surprise on this unit, big and bold while the micro dynamics and shading presentation wher enot blurred or covered up. Great bass and the terble is nice and clean.
Product Weakness: While terble is clean, it is a little less that the best you can get. Product Strengths: Bass, Dynaics
