for the Turntables Choice

For 10+ years I used an EF 1 Conrad-Johnson phono preamp. An excellent unit: clear, crisp, neutral. lively. Then sold it to get a C-J CT 5 pre amp and needed a phono pre-amp and got a Phenomena Nova battery unit. Neutral, neutral neutral......but not as lively as the EF 1. Then on to a PS audio unit which picked up the action but seemed uneven. Then I got a chance to get a first rate(ed)Einstein Turntables Choice at a good price. So glad I got it. Quick, quick, quick, clean, quiet, very tight bass with the leading edge of notes crisp, with beautiful clear tone trailing off naturally. It gives an immediate impression that you are hearing exactly what your turntable, arm and cartridge are producing. It's a two piece unit and the power supply must be placed as far away from everything else as possible. It has 4 loading options: 40, 85, 300, 475 ohms.

Product Weakness: Two piece requiring extra interconnects. Power supply must be placed away from equipment. Limited provided loading(factory will supply others).
Product Strengths: Neutral, beautiful tone, fast, clean, quick with superb bass reproduction. The leading edge of notes through the faintest sound clearly reproduced.
