for the Titan

The Lyra Titan is every bit as good as described. Only one caution-- the cantilever projects from under the cartridge body, making it easy to snag on a sleeve as you move an LP. I destroyed one cartridge that way years ago. My previous Clearaudio Insider did not have that problem-- the cantilever well hidden under the cartridge. I run the Titan at l.7 grams and 47 Khz as recommended. I could change it but that requires going inside the Conrad Johnson Premier l5 phono preamp. The sound is superb as is, beating any CD rig, including my dCS stack.

Product Weakness: if the LP is bright it's bright.
Product Strengths: detail, warmth, bass.
