Well for reasons I'll let stay unknown trying this fairly inexpensive device was cost free. What did I have to lose? Nothing now, but I really like the results and will be purchasing some in the future. Why? It works, it helps, CD's treated sound better.

You can go to the website and see what it is and read the "definitive explanation" link for yourself. You can draw your own conclusions "technically" but you owe it to yourself to try it and with the sites 30 day money back guarantee you'll have nothing to lose. I'm always amazed that people won't even try things because they think they won't work. We could have a discussion all day long on that but lets talk about what happened when I implemented it in my system.

I used position one for mounting as recommended on the site and chose 5 discs on Friday night around 9PM that I know intimately for purposes of this test. From the beginning it was quite apparent there was a lot of improvement.

The easiest thing to notice was improved detail and smoother HF (digitals weak point IMO) I noticed on every subsequent disc I played that this was true. Mids were smoother, a bit more pronounced and they showed better texture as did the HF. Sound stage depth improved, in short everything got better. Small details in recordings became easier to hear. These are the same type of improvements I get when I do a successful system upgrade whether gear/accessory or tweak.

I ended up staying up until 3AM! I had planned to listen to selected tracks on these 5 discs but ended up playing 9 discs listening to most in their entirety. I was having a great system and music moment.

Now day two; the chip says it can treat up to 14 discs so I chose more discs and continued testing. Well, actually I followed the sites instructions and removed the chip from my CDP after the first listen and put it back in its foil wrap. So before I tried the next set of discs I relistened to the 9 I treated the night before. I had made mental notes of passages where differences were easily heard and again they showed the improvement from their previous treatment as advertised. So as I did the next discs after reinserting the chip on my CDP tray the same thing happened. Big improvements.

So I'm miserly or frugal and even cheap.........sometimes. I have about 2000 CD's but only regularly listen to less than half of them. Treating 1000 CD's would be around $2000 as each chip can treat 14 CD's. If I had the money I wouldn't think twice. Since I don't right now (the last 6 years have been rough but are trending upward now) I'll start off buying a few more at a time and report back on the results.

This works well and the result is easy to hear. I wanted to post this in ISO but there is no choice to do so. I'm guessing not too many people know why ISO was started.................

Product Weakness: not a cheap tweak if you plan to treat thousand(s) of discs, but still a good value IMO
Product Strengths: improved sound in several areas that is easy to hear
