Gumby's portable radio. Smart, Chic, Minimalist, Flexible, Rebellious yet Remarkably Conventionalized, Repulsive yet Tittillating - the playfully stoic Cyber Radio is the new Ideal! Available in at least two strident colors (mine's pure yellow), this full featured am/fm radio is completely encapsulated in rubber - all of the controls (except the hard plastic antenna that also doubles as a tuning knob) and even the single speaker driver cone are integral extrusions of the rubber waterproof exoskeleton, blooming demurely from the primordial silicone mother-structure into strangely formalized, almost hieroglyphic, squiggles, discs, and cones! Sonically laidback, warm and tubelike sounding, the bass begins to roll off steeply at about 400hz. while the treble does likewise somewhere up around 8000 hz.! A grippy, sharp-sided rectangle form about 4"x6"x1", the Cyber Radio is a go-anywhere-do-anything Masterpiece of Lo-Fi! Can be had on clearance for as little as $1.99! (Uses 4 AA batteries not included.)
