Well I've had these a while and I still use 'em. I recently borrowed a Sanyo table to see if I still like LPs so I don't have a lot of time with the new setup, but I am encouraged. Mated to the Musical Fidelity Xcans v1, these sound great. Tons of Bass and great highs.

Having listened to "Walkmans" for over a decade with ear-bud headphones, my mid-range hearing is, well to be kind, gone. I still have excellent hearing in the upper and lower bands so I can appriciate the HD600s. I like how the mids are on these and the sound staging is listenable. They transistion well between the octaves. You'd better have good recordings though, things get ugly quick if done by modern CD Engineers!

I like the openness of the design. Having had Sony's that are air tight, I did not think that the sound would be as rich, but experience is a great teacher.
