Music and recording quality: All

Sources: Linn Ikemi, Electrocompaniet MCD-1.

IC's/PC's: Cardas.

Amplification: Creek OBH14, Roksan Kandy (phones jack on the back), Marantz cd6003 Phones jack.

Built: Basic plastics-Its all about them small drivers, Big jack adaptor quality compared to Koss, Senz, OK-smooth sound, grip-average.

Comfort: New ear pads doesn't scrup the skin like before, Head bow and weight-better than average.

Sound: Grado has changed.

New drivers along with new ear pads design turned this veteran design into a blend of old and new conceptions in sound.

The "i"s are now more lush-elaborated mid oriented, More natural and true to the source. These things come on the expense of "openness" and punch, IMHO, the most disturbing things are the noticeable highs roll-off and reduced sound stage resolution. Also I didn't like this unnecessary low mid hump.

Yes, for 70$ it's the most organic/mid realistic HP out there, but come on, For a few dollars more you can get a better deal.

One thing never changes tough, If you are bombarded by magazine, and who knows who they are-reviews on the web, flashing their five stars, you're gonna believe them no matter what.

My total rating: 7/10
