I purchased this unit to replace my ONKYO multi-disc and Pioneer DVD. After my first viewing of a DVD I was very impressed. The picture quality and sound were both excellent and the ease of operation was commendable. After using the player a little more I started to come across a few issues. Firstly, the thing won't play 6 disks randomly. Pretty strange since the last Onkyo CD player did. Secondly, the remote bites! There are way too many buttons on the extremely un-ergonomic layout and it is missing what I thought to be the most important function on a remote - the volume level. Thirdly, it does not play cd-r's.
