All in all a very good sounding DAC. It has good dynamic range and good freqency response. The lows go down really low. The highs go really high with out being shrill. Reasonable rich middle end. Very easy unit to listen to. I listened to it for hours and found it tough to get up and go to bed knowing I had to work the next day. There was not one thing that stood out. It had good clarity, the high hats sounded like brass. There was some resonance to the sound. High definition sound. It was a floor model that had about 100 hours on it, that's how I got it for the price I did.
