Well, I'm a happy owner of a Dan Wright modified MSB Link DAC II. While the stock unit performs very well, this unit with the mods is much better.
The sound is much more transparent and is now nearly devoid of 'digital glare'. The soundstage is deeper; imaging is more stable; bass is tighter and better defined; treble is pristine; and the midrange is has a palpable quality. This upgrade is a no brainer! It's probably the best money I've spent on my system, and I wasn't dissatisfied before.

If, you now own a Link DAC, I can give no higher recommendation FWIW.

Dan is truly a 'straight shooter' and is responsive to inquiries.
