VH Power Cords: a review. After some conversation with Chris Venhaus, I convinced him to make me a flavor 1 and flavor 2 power cord. I have read his stuff for a year and felt comfortable with his knowledge and honesty, but I didn't want to do the DIY thing. Chris was kind enough to make each of those PC's for me; however, I don't think that he will do that on a regular basis; too busy. I try not to listen to the details of audio at this stage. After building and dissecting my systems for the last 35 years, it was time to "enjoy the music". Anyway, I received the two cords this past week and attached flavor 1 to my Sonic frontiers Power 2. It sounded good, maybe a bit better than I had, but not enough to write a review. After some discussion with Chris, it became obvious that flavor 2 was designed for the amp. Well, after a few minutes I no longer could concentrate on the music nor use it for backround reading. The difference in the audio preformance was too dramatic. The high frequency detail and the dynamics had improved enough that I was again listening to the sound. It's been two days now - only 20 hours of use - and I'm slowly getting back to enjoying the music, which is now even cleaner and "more right". I've tried 2 or 3 power cords in the past and was never impressed that they made a difference - in spite of what the experts in the asylum said. This is the first power cord that makes a hugh difference in getting the best out of a system. Congratulations, Chris. Your product is up there with the best. On a cost vs value basis, it must be in the top five. I urge you folks out there who can do simple DIY stuff to do this one.

Product Weakness: Flavor 2 a bit on the bulky side, but more flexible than others.
Product Strengths: Allows your components to do what they can. Highly recommended
