I've had this stuff on my demo system on-and-off for around six months and hadn'r thought about submitting a review until now. This was prompted by my recent review/evaluation of the Excelsior cable. I never realized how smoth the cable was until I compared it to the Excelsior from the same manufacturer. Bearing in mind that Ultralink sounds totally different from the XLO product that I've also used, I found that the BW1412 was as smooth as the Excelsior but the sound stage was smaller. It seems to stop at the out edge of the speaker, but still had good depth. This is not a bad thing, as the focus and imaging was rack solid as on the Excelsior. This cable is great for anybody who owns a Canadian speaker as it has very smooth high and tight deep bass, andit let's one get into a good quality biwire cable without spending a ton of money.
