for the Illuminati D-60

I tried D60 but eventually sold it in favor of Canare Digiflex. I heard many good things about D60 but in my system it sounded lean or empty in the midrange. Now people can argue all day about associated equipment. Or maybe I just had a "bad" one, you know the kind that travels around Audiogon like a hot potato. Yes the Canare did not have the detail at the extremes or the impressive soundstage, but it has better dynamics and warm feeling in the mids. I have only heard slight burn-in with digital cables. Usually hear most of their defining character the moment you plug them in, IME.

Product Weakness: Empty midrange, in my system
Product Strengths: Hype detail
