for the Hero
I recently placed two of these in my system (pre to amp, DAC to pre)replacing AQ King Cobras. There was an immediate improvement. Quieter, clearer. I believe this is because both transients are more detailed and decays last longer. The locking WBTs are a big plus, especially in a home theater system where there are so many ICs that it's easy to nudge one loose just be fiddling with something else.I was concerned about the absence of shielding, but these are very quiet.
Product Weakness: None so far Product Strengths: Clear, quiet, detailed, firm connection
