for the power cord

Hope some other Goldmund users share their opinions.

Goldmund power cord has many faults: attentuated high/mid treble, some grain in upper mid, lean midbass, and questionable build quality. It's the thinnest commercial cord I know, and when I opened it, I found at most 14 AWG stranded copper conductor imbedded in polyethylene or polyolefin, twisted. Stranded copper shield serves as ground, terminated with a small resistor at AC plug end.

So why bother post a review? The Goldmund has a strength no one else has. The human voice has a commanding presence with extremely dense colors and unparalled definition/detail. When you switch to Goldmund cord, the midrange is just so gripping and present. No other cord in my experience approaches this.

Over time, though, its faults become irritating, but in certain system configurations, its faults can be minimized, leaving that midrange intact...

Anyone else out there with experience with the Goldmund cord?
