4' special length purchased from diycable.com
in a single word: w-o-w!
both the outlet side and the iec portion of the power cord when attached to my (Goldentube Audio SE-40) resulted in a sound that resembles something being "locked in" / sturdy connection. .
after about 45" (the first 30" had poor imaging/flat soundstage), I came back to the room to listen to 'Notting Hill' (the soundtrack) and the sound changed and sounded fuller/faster (not sluggish)/had that dark background/dimensionality/better bass, details and dynamics! How different from my MIT ZCord II that i purchased from my dealer over two years ago for over twice the price of this cable.
And to think this assembled power cord only cost me $61.95 plus the $7.50 for shipping and handling from Kevin Haskins!
And i've only used it for about 4 hours (playing over and over this soundtrack)
