What can I say when I read your design for speaker cable I had a realy good laugh.
CAT5 You must be jokeing I think's to myself you see over the year's I have installed miles and miles of the stuff and ripped out and dumped even more.
So on a wet sunday morning what does one do? nip out to the garege find a box of AT&T CAT5 cut to 3m lenths and start to strip the stuff.
A stanley knife is the fastest way run the blade around the sleaving at about 10inch's and pull when you get half way start at the other end.
Now invite your children around for dinner tell them to bring their partner's
When they arrive slip them a drink and just tell them you are trying to make speaker cable that you dont think will work and start them plating you won't believe how fast hairdressers can plat by sunday evening they were made.
You must use tape on the finger's "it saves a lot of pain".
That was 2 month's ago we have now made 3 sets and i still can't believe them.
I did not know that my system could sound so good its much more forcefull
its got imaging treble and bass I have never heard in the past out of the a/c type 6.

P.S. THERE THAT GOOD I AM NOW BUILDING DIY SPEAKERS TO SEE HOW GOOD MY SYSTEM IS
COST TO BE IN THE HIGH HUNDREDS "THAT'S YOUR FAULT".
One more note to biwire can I get away with brading just 3x3 total 9 pairs to the treble side.
